For so long has my soul
Been covered in a veil,
Watching without vision
Until you made me whole
I sowed but did not reap.
An empty harvest
Barren of fruit,
Only ploughing grief.
As a heart unmated
I was moored.
Yet now I am in bloom,
Clouds and mist are as one abated.
My beggars feet were filled with broken glass
My cellar empty.
Filled with shadows only.
Until you filled me with love, stripping hungers mask.
